The Mark and Monica Nyman Foundation was established in 2011 to promote education and leadership opportunities for youth. The Foundation is registered with the State of Oregon and has a 501 (c) (3) designation. Mark and Monica Nyman are entrepreneurs who have established a successful food brokerage business in the mid-Willamette Valley in Oregon. Their business, foodguys, started in 1991 and is located in Wilsonville, Oregon. Mark and Monica value family, education, commitment and leadership and hold a belief that anything is possible. Monica is the chairperson and Mark is the vice chairperson of the Foundation Board. Other members of the Board of Directors include: Marshall Mills (Treasurer), Logistics Coordinator Dave Guile (Secretary), Consultant, Educator Bob Pascalar, Commercial Loan Underwriter Amanda Guile-Hinman, Attorney Madeline Nyman, Student Jessica Hernandez, Human Resources Director Tracy Sanderson, CEOThe original CEO for the Foundation was Dave Guile. Effective October 1, 2014, Dave joined the Board of Directors and Tracy Sanderson became the CEO for the Foundation. Jessica Hernandez joined the Board in fall 2017. In summer of 2018, the Board approved a new board position titled, Director of Social Media and Website Management. Madeline Nyman will be taking on these responsibilities. No compensation is provided for any Board Members or the CEO. Except for required state and federal filing fees, 100% of donations go to program expenses. The Foundation does not fund or support any political cause, issue or candidate. The Foundation has a Conflict of Interest policy and conducts an annual board training utilizing A Guide to Non Profit Board Service in Oregon, published by the Attorney General's Office. |
